J.A. Moore (American, b.1978) is an artist and designer who often seeks expression in the liminal spaces between such concrete descriptors. His X-acto scrapes and vivisects the flat planes of political discourse, class, and physical identity to be recombined in layered paper portmanteau. The resulting collages gauge the fathoms between surface level consciousness, and the Id resting in the depths. Moore's work resides in print, on apparel, and in galleries across Europe & The United States.
